A person on my FB friends list posted a report about an experiment concerning atheists and "Christians." The experiment involves an atheist and "Christian" exchanging religious behavior for a period of time. The atheist goes to church, reads the Bible and other faith oriented activities, while the "Christian" stops going to church, reading the Bible, praying and other Christian activities.
IT IS BOGUS
My FB friend is opposed to Biblical Christianity, so he has no idea what a real Christian is. In fact, the report and experiment is bogus, because the premise is impossible. A person who is religious may give up religion for a while, but a Christian, an actual Christian would never give up church, Scripture, prayer and other Christian behavior.
BEWARE THE HOCUS POCUS
In fact, people in today's society are so ignorant of Bible Christianity or so antagonistic to Bible Christianity that they readily buy into false representation and reject the true message of God and His followers. The social climate promotes religiosity as a substitute for Bible faith and salvation. Faux Christianity is the sure road to destruction, true faith in Christ is the road to eternal life (Ro. 6:22).
Whether it is following the Pope (and his anti-Bible dictums) or erroneously including the beliefs of liberal theology, or accepting the heresies of the cults, or equating all religions as being the same, society has been duped, led astray, deceived into rejecting God and His Son and His word and His salvation, in exchange for Satan's lie.
