12/25/14 A WORKAROUND

12/25/14 A WORKAROUND

Wouldn't it be great if we could sit down in front of our computer today and SKYPE loved ones who are no longer with us? I would love to be able to look on the screen and say, "Hi Pop, I love you and miss you," and "Merry Christmas Mamma. I love you." But we can't. So here is a workaround.

* Be sure to reach out and touch your loved ones, while they are still with you. Be very protective about this... you can lose precious moments of love, joy, and peace because of silly, stupid things that do not matter. All the nicest things this world has to offer is not as important as love.

* Also, be sure that you have reserved your place in the heavenly family for the future, by receiving Christ into your heart and life, and then encourage others to do the same. We all want to think we are going to heaven and that our loved ones are going to heaven, but it is a false hope unless we actually give our lives to Christ and receive Him into our own lives. A false hope, in thinking that anyone goes to heaven without being saved, will fall into total collapse the moment we draw our last breath.

We can't be good enough, on our own, to get to heaven, but we can be saved by turning to Christ. He forgives, regenerates, cleanses, indwells and empowers us to live a life well pleasing in His sight.

Colossians 1:9-13
(9) For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
(10) That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
(11) Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
(12) Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
(13) Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
