12/09/14 SALVATION CLEARS UP A LOT, AND NOT JUST SIN

12/09/14 SALVATION CLEARS UP A LOT, AND NOT JUST SIN

If Eric Garner had been a Christian, He would not have died for breaking a legitimate law and He would not have died because he was resisting arrest. He may have died in some other way. He may have died for sharing and obeying Christ. He may have died at the hands of evil men, whether police or anarchist. But he died as a man committing a crime, He died as a man with a criminal history. And he died fighting against lawful authority. In fact, I am inclined to think he would have been in a pew on Sunday, instead of a coffin.

As long as people choose to be part of the chaos they have no complaints when law and order falls on them heavily. People need to follow Jesus. People need to raise their children to follow Jesus.

This is really important. If a person dies in his sins, he is lost forever. The real issue in America is not SKIN, but SIN. If people would believe the message of God, repent of their sins, receive Christ as Lord and Savior, then race relations would be ruled by grace relations.

Not only would the crime problems cease, the bigot problem would be eradicated. Going to a church and then living outside of life changing grace is not a substitute for faithfully following Christ.

There AIN'T NOTHING in salvation that is bad or bad for a person.

Everyone wants to go to heaven, but very few will walk in the steps of Jesus.

Everyone wants a world of love and grace, but very few people will surrender their pride of face, lace, race and place.

You can't take hold of Jesus when you are holding onto the world.

You can't be filled with the light of love when you embrace the life of hatred.
