I just posted that it is ok to HATE death, along with hating sin and Satan, because it is our enemy, and sometimes deluges us with sorrow. Let me add.
We do not have to FEAR death (or sin or Satan), since Jesus has conquered the enemies of our souls. However victory over these three thieves can only be claimed by those who follow in Jesus steps.
We either choose to believe on Christ or not to believe. We either choose to follow or not follow. We cannot choose for other people, but we can share the good news of salvation through Christ with them, and then they have the opportunity to choose.
Jesus came to save His people from their sins, from the intimidation of Satan and from death. When we love and trust Christ, and walk in His steps, we have perfect love, and perfect love casts out fear. When we follow Jesus fully, we are more than conquerors over sin, Satan and death.
God says, Fear not, I am with you.
