11/21/14 WOLF IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING

Barack Hussein Obama quoted Scripture in order to deify his executive order on immigration.

HE WAS WRONG ON SO MANY LEVELS. But consider his use of this Scripture here. Let me mention two areas of his deceitful use of Scripture.

He quoted Exodus 23:9, which says,
Exodus 23:9
(9) Also thou shalt not oppress a stranger: for ye know the heart of a stranger, seeing ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.

#1 This passage has a context, and to remove it from its context is to mishandle Scripture (which Obama has done before, when he ridiculed the same Holy Bible concerning homosexuality, which is actually condemned in the Old and New Testaments).

This was a directive given to Moses, concerning Israel's laws. While there are principles that are universal, the directive is not universal and is not a directive to the nations of the world concerning immigration. Trust me, we do not want Old Testament laws, concerning Israel's statehood to be the law of the land in America. Moral laws never change, civil laws do change.

The end of the verse says, "...we were strangers in the land of Egypt." This was true for Israel during the lifetime of Moses, but most Americans have never been to Egypt, or Kenya, though a few have been there.

#2 Let's look at the context (some of the other verses in this chapter that Obama did not quote), and see where he stands.

Exodus 23:1-8 (God's word to Israel and DLG note).
(1) Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.
DLG note... Forget your accusations of other Presidents, this applies to all, but if Obama is going to invoke this Scripture, he should at least follow the first verse. STOP LYING AND QUIT ALLYING WITH OTHER LIARS.

(2) Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment:
DLG note... Do not try to hide your own evil actions and words by following the evil crowd and do not add your support to those who pervert justice, as in Eric Holder and others in your administration.

(3) Neither shalt thou countenance a poor man in his cause.
DLG note... God not only condemned taking sides with the rich and powerful (against the poor), God condemned the perverting of justice in order to enrich the poor. Socialism and handouts are contrary to the way of God.
Socialism (and subscribed to by Obama) says, "From each according to his ability, to each according to his need."
God says, "If any should not work, neither should he eat...we command and exhort...work, and eat their own bread." (2 Th. 3:8-10)

(6) Thou shalt not wrest the judgment of thy poor in his cause.
DLG note... Not only should a person not conspire against the poor, nor pervert justice in favor of the poor, we should not cheat the poor.

(7) Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked.
DLG note... Again God condemns lying. BUT ALSO, condemns the killing of the innocent and the righteous. Obama is the most pro murder President we have ever had. Obama not only chooses to murder the unborn, he wants to make it criminal for American citizens to not pay for the killing of the innocents. He wants to make Americans deny their faith by murdering babies (in the womb and out of the womb).

(8) And thou shalt take no gift: for the gift blindeth the wise, and perverteth the words of the righteous.
DLG note... Not only has Obama taken "gifts" he has appointed people to his cabinet who have profited personally by the murder of babies. Obama has prejudged and condemned people, with whom he disagrees. Obama has one justice system for himself and another system for others.

Vss. 10 through 23 address Jewish laws of Sabbath, Sacrifices, Celebrations and a warning for those who do not follow those laws.

(24) Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images.
DLG note... The nation of Israel was not allowed to honor any false gods. They were commanded to tear them down. Obama fails on both counts.

Vss. 26 through 31 are promises concerning the establishment of Israel as a nation and the boundaries that God has promised.

(32) Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods.
(33) They shall not dwell in thy land, lest they make thee sin against me: for if thou serve their gods, it will surely be a snare unto thee.
DLG note... God forbade Israel from entering into league with godless nations because it would pollute the life of the Israelites. This is what we are seeing more in our own land, as Obama allies with and gives preference to Islamic nations.
