11/03/14 NORMAL CHRISTIAN EXPERIENCE AND LIVING

11/03/14 NORMAL CHRISTIAN EXPERIENCE AND LIVING

Though Satan has poisoned the minds of people against the thorough and miraculous work of salvation, and has stigmatized the idea of total commitment and complete deliverance from the power, pollution and penalty of sin, the fact is, the perfection God provides for Christians in this present evil world is NORMAL CHRISTIAN EXPERIENCE AND LIVING.

When someone attacks Biblical, Christian perfection by calling it "PERFECTIONISM," (erroneously equating the perfection God provides for believers with the Absolute Perfection that only God possesses), you need to hear it in its Biblical terminology, which is, "... filled with all the fullness of God" (Eph. 3:19). When we are filled with all the fullness of God, we will be perfected in the graces He bestows on us.

(If you do not know what I mean by Atonement or Biblical or Christian Perfection, then please read my Facebook Note on Believer's Perfection).

Also consider this statement from Jesus.

Matthew 6:19-24
(19) Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
(20) But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
(21) For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
(22) The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
(23) But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!
(24) No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

I don't mind repercussions. However, I do seek God's wisdom in sharing.
As a fellow said a long time ago, we should suffer for the foolishness of preaching (1:Co. 1:18), not for foolish preaching. Hehehe.
It is possible to speak so often and so loudly (in the flesh) that we are not heard today.
And there is always the possibility of casting pearls in the wrong place (Mt. 7:6).
I subscribe to the concept of, "a word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver" (Pr. 25:11).
Not only do I share with people on a personal level, I invite them to church and offer to have Bible studies in their homes, or meet with them privately and answer any questions they may have, and I tell people I am available if they need me, at any time.
I try to present the truth in love (Ep. 4:15).
I preach in season and out of season (2 Tm. 4:2).
