11/03/14 A NEED TO TURN AROUND

Have you ever taken a wrong turn, and needed to change your direction in order to reach your desired destination? I have. People laugh at folks who refuse to admit they made a mistake or took a wrong turn. But the fact is, if we are going the wrong way, we need to change our course.

America is going the wrong way. It chose not to follow God's directives for morality and spiritual success. America has chosen Libertinism. It has turned from God's set rules of morality and rejected God's revealed plan of restoration. Hedonism is becoming the accepted way of life. People do not want to be told what to do, what not to do, what to think, what to say, regardless of how outrageously they choose to live. Adultery, perversity, drug addictions, profanity, blasphemy, disloyalty are the norms for daily social behavior. The children of today are being led down the garden path into the trap of perversion, and the adults are angry at those who raise their voices in support of Biblical standards and old fashioned Christianity.

People do not care that their children or grandchildren are living in adultery with their boyfriends or girlfriends. They don't care that their children or grandchildren are being encouraged to experiment with same sex relationships. They don't care that society is destroying the moral foundation of this country, and feeding the flames of destruction with the lives and souls of our children.

I don't think America will turn around and go the right way. Maybe it will, but I don't think so. In fact, I don't think very many people will be willing to go against the tsunami of moral corruption in our society. However, I hope some will turn while they can, in order to save themselves and to provide the children the direction and encouragement they need, rather than be dragged down by this maelstrom of humanism into a moral cesspool.
