10/10/14 KILL HIM, KILL HIM, KILL HIM

10/10/14 KILL HIM, KILL HIM, KILL HIM

These are the words that were screamed by the masses when Pilate asked them what they wanted him to do with Jesus.
These are the words that are echoed by sinners when God's messenger confronts and condemns their sin.

I stand so boldly against sin, and its grip, and its power to deform and corrupt because the nicest people can become the worst monsters when they reject Jesus.

Sin, as it is allowed to continue in a person's life, with its anger, violence, lust, adultery, perversion, envy, jealousy, deceit, hypocrisy, pride, selfishness, abusiveness, is a merciless power that twists and violates and destroys a person. It will lead people to secretly attack those in their lives who are the most innocent, the most lovely.

Christ, with His redemption, extends merciful power to those who confess, repent, believe and follow Him. He alone can set the captive free, raise the dead, cleanse from all sin, and replace the old man and old ways with the new man and the newness of life.
