08/19/14 HONOR AND RIDICULE
I have been thinking about the honors society gives to Christ-less men and women though they blatantly display their evil thoughts through words and actions, whether they are entertainers, athletes, scholars or politicians, contrasted to the ridicule and disdain heaped upon those who openly exalt Christ through a life of self denying service to God and other people.
This is not a shock, but it is noteworthy that such an "enlightened" and "tolerant" and "pluralistic" society as our is as resistant to God, His word and His people, just as the Bible said they would be.
