08/19/14 FALSE AND EMPTY HOPE

How sad. Sinning religion is a false, and empty, hope.

I meet people on a regular basis that have been robbed by sinning religion, and led astray by purveyors of defeatist religion, which is a counterfeit Christianity, offering forgiveness of sins but not providing deliverance from sin through experiential cleansing from all sin or power over all sin.

I met a man with an Ichthus painted on the side of his family business work van. I asked him if it meant what it is supposed to mean. He said, "Most days. Anybody who tells you different is lying."

Of course I told him that was not necessarily true, "because some people live the victorious life in Christ."

How sad. People think that victory over sin is a lie, is a false testimony. These people are being robbed by false teachers and left in the shackles of sin. They erroneously hope to see heaven, while they are still slaves to sin. They do not trust Christ to save them, as His word promises.
