Sometimes bad things happen to good people (godly people), but all things (even bad things) work together for good to those who love the Lord (Ro.8:28).

This is why we live by faith, and not by sight (2Co.5:7). But even if your faith is too weak to see you through, you can still hope in God (Ps.38:15). Remember, hope sees the unseeable, before faith secures the unseeable (Ro.8:24).

What if you cannot find hope within yourself? Do not despair: Christ is your hope (1Tm.1:1).

Everything in life can change.
Friends can change.
We can change.
But Jesus does not change (He.13:8).

Everything in life can fail.
Our most reliable, dependable friends can fail.
We can fail.
But God never fails (Ps. 46:2-3; Ps.73:26).
