The old quip was, "You can get your car in any color you want, as long as it is black." In other words, you have no choice because Henry Ford made your choice for you.
In Calvinism, you can choose whom you will serve, as long as it is God's predetermined and unilateral decision. In other words, you have no choice because God made your choice for you.
There are some things that are not optional in life, but God does require us, allows us, enables us to choose whom we will serve (Joshua 24:15).
