05/10/14 THIS WILL NOT WIN ME FRIENDS...
(I am sad to say).

Today we see people who profess faith in Christ, openly rejecting Biblical standards and Divine revelation. I will only address some of the Biblical standards that are being violated and compromised in the name of tolerance and Christian liberty today. Many of my points, though Biblical, will be offensive to modern "Christian" thinking.

DRIFTING TO DRIVEN

As we watch the Bible being rejected by those who profess faith in Christ, we are watching the rise of the anti-Christ spirit and the arrival of the coming "falling away." I think America will not return to honoring the Bible, but will go the way of Europe, as the world prepares for the One World Government, One World Economy and One World Religion. These are some of the Biblical truths and standards that modern Christians are exchanging for another standard. Obviously this does not address every area of concern. I am sure you may think of some, as I will, after I post this.

Social Behavior
No abortion, except to save life of mother.
Jesus is Lord and the only Head of the Church, rather than the State.
It is better to obey God than men.
Though we are not under Sabbath Laws, we need to recognize one day of rest and spiritual renewal each week.
Men are to be pastors, though women serve in many areas of ministry.
Strong drink and drunkenness are forbidden.
God expects and enables obedience to His moral law. Sinning religion must be denounced.
The government is responsible to protect the righteous and punish the wicked.
Christians are called to be peacemakers, we are not allowed to be violent (nor does the new nature allow us to be violent).
Christians must honor men of God and obey the leaders that God appoints over them.
Though we are not under Tithing Laws, we need to give to the work of God.
Christians are to honor and obey civil authorities.
Christians are to abstain from all appearance of evil (in every area of life).
Christians should not follow the crowd in recreational, vocational, educational or social activities that deny Christ or yoke them with idolatrous views or activities.

Sexual Activities
There must be no sexual activity except with one's own spouse.
There must be no lusting or immodest behavior or talk.
There must be no sexual activity with the unmarried.
There must be no sexual activity with other married people.
There must be no same sex, sexual relationships.
Gender bending and confusion is forbidden.

Marital/Family Relationships
The husband is head of the home and should love his wife as Christ loves the Church, giving honor to his wife as the weaker vessel.
The wife is the husband's help meet and should honor and obey her husband, as the Church obeys Christ.
Husbands are to be the providers, and wives are to be the keepers at home.
Wives help husbands, without neglecting or abandoning her Biblical place in the marriage.
(When a wife has to work outside of the home, it should be essential to life, not for comfort or advantage. Wives in the workforce is like medicine or medical treatment; it is only done in time of specific need).
Husbands and wives are one flesh.
Husbands and wives should fulfill one another's sexual needs.
Children must honor and obey parents, for a lifetime.
Adult children should leave their parents, for their spouses.
Parents should not exasperate their children.
Parents should bring up children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
Parents should discipline their children.
Parents should model and promote separation and distinction between genders.

Marriage
Marriage is for a male and a female only.
God says one husband for one wife and one wife for one husband for one lifetime.
God condemns divorce and remarriage, except for the reason of adultery (and possibly the Pauline exception).
God forbids sexual relations with anyone except one's own spouse .
A believer only marries another believer.
Multiplicity of spouses is forbidden.
