05/04/14 WHAT YOUR SALVATION DOES NOT DO...

If you have a salvation that does not save from sin, you have been saved from Bible salvation, or in the common vernacular, you are lost, because the Bible says that Jesus came to save His people from their sins.

But, if your salvation from sin does not save you from temptation, welcome to the family of faith, for even Jesus was tempted, yet without sinning and therefore He is able to help those who are being tempted, and God delivers from temptation and gives a way of escape.

If you have a salvation that has not yet delivered you from your human frailties, then praise the Lord. Because God's strength is made perfect in our weakness (not our sin), and Jesus has been touched with the feeling of our infirmities and He gives us comfort.

If you have a salvation that does not save you from the sufferings of this present time, don't worry, they are not to be compared with the glory that awaits those who are faithful.
