05/01/14 SAVIOR AND JUDGE

05/01/14 SAVIOR AND JUDGE

Make no mistake about it, the God Who loves us so much that He gave His only begotten Son for us, and the Son of God Who loved us so much that He gave His life as a sacrifice for the sins of the world, will one day judge the world. He will not allow the sin and injustice of the present time to go unpunished.

Just as He is a God of love, mercy and grace, He is a God of righteousness, justice, and vengeance. The only escape from His righteous judgement is to call on Jesus to forgive our sins, change our lives and save our souls.

Not only is this true for the violent Muslims, the filthy child predators and the oppressors of the poor, it is true for every man and woman who has never been saved.
(consider these verses)

1 John 2:2-3
(2) And he (Jesus) is the propitiation (satisfaction) for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
(3) And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

John 14:21
(21) He that has my commandments, and keeps them, he it is that loves me: and he that loves me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

Acts 17:29-31
(29) Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.
(30) And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commands all men every where to repent:
(31) Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

Hebrews 10:28-31
(28) He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
(29) Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
(30) For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongs unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
(31) It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
