04/29/14 RANDOM THOUGHTS

Here are a few random thoughts that seem to fit together for me.

My years and days are numbered, and though I can't add years to my life, I can add life to my years.

Only one life, 'twill soon be past.
Only what's done for Christ will last.

Redeem the time, for the days are evil.

Whatever you do, do it with all your might, do it to the glory of God, and do all things without murmuring and complaining.

Another thought that I have been mulling over lately is: I am 67 years old, and I have so much that I still want to do (which requires more effort, considering my health and age). Though I do not have the promise of the next breath, I am now thinking how close I am to 70 years old. Wooo hooo.

Two more thoughts.

For me to live is Christ and to die is gain.
My times are in God's hand.
