Last night I spoke about "Putting The Puzzle Of Life Together." It would actually be a good topic for a group discussion. In fact, it would be a great topic for a mini-seminar or workshop. God has a plan and we need to become aware of it as soon as we can in order to fulfill as much of it as possible.
God wants to save children when they are very young, then He wants them to remain faithful as they get older. Parents and Christian leaders need to help children hear the call of God and help them find their God given talents and gifts (both natural and spiritual), and to develop their acquired abilities and skills, in preparation for their life's calling or work. The sooner we get the puzzle to start taking shape, the more effective and efficient we will be in accomplishing our service to God and others.
I pointed out that the first dozen pieces of a puzzle are usually harder to find and fit than the last dozen, just like real life. This is why children need a model and vision to follow (like the picture on the puzzle box), and mentors to teach them. The Model is Jesus; the vision is God's revelation and leading through His word; and the mentors are Christian parents, family, pastors and believers in the church.
Forget the maxim, "It takes a village to raise a child." Actually it takes a kingdom, the kingdom of God to raise a child, with the parents being primarily responsible. God has a plan for His children (beginning before they are born) and they should be helped in finding and fulfilling that plan at an early age.
There was much more that I addressed last night, but you get the idea. I enjoyed the singing, the interaction of the children and even the concept of, "Putting The Puzzle Of Life Together."
Much Like Today

It Is Inevitable.
Amos 8:11-12
(11) Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:
(12) And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.
Train Up Your Child.

(4) So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
(5) Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
(6) In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
