01/15/14 BE A WINNER... NOT A LOSER

Here is the deal, we either are going to be ON FIRE for Jesus and FOLLOWING HIM FULLY, or we are going to be something else. Something else may be a winner, a "success" in any other arena of life, or it may be a "so-so" attitude toward life, or it may be a negative, loser mentality. IT DOES NOT MATTER what the SOMETHING ELSE is; it is all loser country.

If you do not want to be negative or "so-so" or worldly, you need to turn your eyes upon Jesus and follow in His steps. NOW is the accepted time.

All of your failure and all of your success is empty and futile without Christ. Christ not only gives us purpose, He gives us the power to pursue and procure that purpose.

Galatians 6:14
(14) But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

Philippians 3:7-11
(7) But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
(8) Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
(9) And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
(10) That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
(11) If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
