Snapshots and short clips do not tell the whole story.
I have noticed that a mental image of a person is created, depending on the profile picture they choose for their FB or video clip we see. The nicest of people can be perceived as monsters and the most corrupt of people can appear as angels.
This is clearly demonstrated when we see a well known person portraying a hero/heroine and then see them on the 10:00 o'clock news in an act of violence, or throwing about vulgarities or in the grip of some addictive vice.
My point (actually 2 points)...
1- We should not make judgments about people based on limited information (we may exalt the baser sort, or demean those of worth). Remember, the Scripture tells us not to be judgmental.

2- We should avoid situations that misrepresent our true character and commitment. Remember, the Scripture tells us to, "Avoid the appearance of evil."
We cannot always help what others think of us, but we can be gracious as we think of others.
