12/19/14 NOW LET US SING

Okay, no one is going to put, "listen to David sing" on their Bucket List. However, one of the things I miss the most when I am having breathing problems is the ability to sing out loud. I sing out loud when I sing with other people, and when I am leading singing, and when I am alone and want to praise God with a joyful sound. It is not that I like the sound of my own voice, but it is a way to praise God and tell Him that I love Him. I don't offer praise because God is in need of my praise, but because God is worthy of praise. God, in His mercy and grace, is pleased to receive my praise.

Psalms 47:7
(7) For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.

Psalms 145:2-5
(2) Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.
(3) Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.
(4) One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.
(5) I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.
