12/16/14 "I've Made Up My Mind, Don't Confuse Me With The Facts."

When people tell me that they are not interested in what the Bible says about Christ saving them from sin, it reveals how much they need to meet Jesus.

It is like a man in a cave, which is filled with toxic gases, saying, "I am not interested in oxygen."
It is like a man overboard in the middle of the ocean saying, "I am not interested in a lifeboat or a rescuer."
It is like a person in a drug crazed fit of self destruction saying, "I am not interested in medical help or intervention."

Often it is a person whose life is filled with emptiness, whose marriage is on the rocks, whose hope is gone. Jesus saves from futility, brokenness and despair.

Jesus saves from sin and eternal torment, and everyone should be interested in this.
