12/10/14 WE MUST OBEY GOD AND GOD WILL JUDGE US ALL

God, and only God, has the right to decide life and death.
God delegates the responsibility to the State, to protect the righteous and punish the wicked (through police, courts and military).
Not only does the State have the authority to punish evil doers, it has the responsibility.

However, the right to take life is not left to human wisdom or human fiat or human caprice. The Bible gives the principles of capital punishment,

In the Old Testament, Divine guidelines for judgement and war were specifically given to Israel.

Nowhere in the Bible is vengeance permitted for selfish or carnal reasons.

Nowhere in the Bible is killing allowed for personal advantage or convenience.

The New Testament does not allow followers of Christ to use violence.

Now, think about this. What are the legitimate, Biblical reasons capital punishment can be used?

According to the Bible, can a person or the State legitimately kill a person because that person is not liked?
According to the Bible, can a person or the State legitimately kill a person because that person has views that are disagreeable?
According to the Bible, can a person or the State legitimately kill a person because that person is hated?
According to the Bible, can a person or the State legitimately kill a person because that person is causing, or will cause an inconvenience or a burden?

Now think, and be honest, what are the Biblical reasons a person may kill a baby?

If a person is deliberately killed, for something other than a capital crime, or if a baby is aborted, for something other than the life of the mother, it is murder.

Great numbers of women have killed their babies. They have committed a grievous sin. Sometimes it was because they were deceived, and sometimes it was deliberately done for selfish reasons. Those women need to be loved and redirected in life. They need to be forgiven and saved.

But the people who legislate death for children, and the people who kill children for money, or promote the killing of children in the name of progress or feminism or some other vain philosophy, are murdering the innocent as a matter of deliberate choice. This is murder of the vilest kind. In fact, it is an abomination.
