Being a Christian takes commitment of time and focus. A right relationship with God is not guaranteed because a person gives time to religious or spiritual issues, but a right relationship with God is not possible for the person who fails to invest focused, daily time in fellowship, worship, meditation with God. Godliness takes time and focus.

Ask yourself, "Am I investing in a right relationship with God, or am I presuming that God will be there when I need Him? Am I sowing my life to the Spirit, or to the flesh? Am I living for eternity or for time?

As the old saying goes, "It does not take much of a person to be a Christian, but it does take all of that person."
