The fact that Jesus could walk on water, calm the raging sea, multiply the bread and fishes, change water into wine, heal the sick, restore sight to the blind, cleanse the leper, deliver from demons, raise the dead, is proof that He has power over the natural realm as well as the supernatural realm.
The fact that He came to seek and to save that which was lost, went about doing good, died for our sins, rose again for our salvation, gave us His Holy Spirit, is proof that He will supply all of our needs.
When a person is aware of his real needs and aware of the power and the will of God, he can find his help in the Lord. Whatever is destroying you, your relationship with God, is that from which He will save you.
This is where faith takes hold. But faith does not come from nothing. It does not develop in a vacuum. Faith comes from God. Faith comes from hearing the word of God. Faith in God takes over when faith in self and others is forsaken. Saving faith trusts in the greater power. Saving faith believes in the One Who is worthy. Faith in God takes over when faith in self is abandoned.
Faith does not travel alone. Faith is attended by humility, brokenness, love, repentance, confession, submission, praise, redemptive living.
As God has said,
"We have not because we ask not...,"
"Ask and it shall be given you"
"Faith is the victory."
