When Americans forgot that the Freedom of Religion Clause in the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution was in reference to the Christian religion (not Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism), the confusion started to role in like a flood tide on a full moon.
In fact, the Territory of Utah, which was committed to the American spawned cult of Mormonism (c. 1830), could not enter the Union as a State until it denied and abandoned its own Eternal Covenant, which required polygamy. As a result, the LDS changed the passage of Mormon revelation (supposedly revealed by an angel), to a more politically correct statement (per a new revelation from the Mormon god), and Utah was allowed to become a State (1896).
Today it is almost impossible to find Americans who really understand the First Amendment, and look what it has gotten us; from the Big House to the White House there is a love for the most hateful religion in the world today, manifested by laws that give special privilege to Islam, while oppressing Christians. Remember, BHO said, "The future must not belong to those who slander the Prophet of Islam" and "The sweetest sound I know is the Muslim call to prayer."
Do not make the mistake of thinking that Obama's Christ or Christianity is the same as we find in the Bible. Black Liberation Theology is not the same as Biblical Christianity. Black Liberation Theology is based on Marxist concepts, and the Jesus of Islam is not the same as the Jesus of the Bible.
