It amazes me that otherwise intelligent people actually believe conservatives do not like Obama because of his race. Yes, I realize there are bigots, racists, but that is totally different from being conservative. Just because there are "liberal" bigots does not mean that all liberals are bigots. (I also am amazed that these same people follow and support Obama, who openly defies God and His word concerning so many basic Christian beliefs).
BACK TO THE RACE ISSUE
Think about this. What if a black man had won the Republican nominee for President, and then had won the office? If you are thinking that this could not happen, you might need to ask yourself, who is the real bigot? Do you think there would be some Democrats who would disagree with him? Would there be blacks who would disagree with him? Of course. But I just can't see that being equated with racism.
Just because a political leader or a political party says something, it does not mean it is true. People need to stop walking in lockstep with misguided leaders. Don't allow someone with a personal agenda, which actually may be hidden and nefarious, to build walls between you and other people who have a different point of view. When we put imaginary barriers between ourselves and other people, we cut off intelligent, meaningful communication. Don't allow those who disregard the infallibility of the Bible to set your standards, because they are already going in the wrong direction.
CONSIDER
Question... "Where is it more important to be Biblical, in the voting booth or the prayer closet?"
Answer... "Neither."
