08/02/14 SAVED AND CALLED AS A CHILD

On my previous post I pointed out the danger of education with a humanistic orientation, and the only deliverance from faulty thinking would require acceptance of the Bible as divine authority. This was true for me. Let me share, briefly.

I was saved and called to preach by the age of three. I was not raised in a Bible, Christ following home or church, but God was faithful in guiding me. After high school I was headed to college. During my teen years, my thinking had already been tainted by the prevalent, popular, liberal view, though God tenaciously held me by His truth.

I was making plans to attend N.C. Wesleyan College, but circumstances took me to John Wesley Bible College instead. I quickly saw the evil and error of liberal thinking and committed myself to believe the Bible, without reservation. If I had gone to the school that did not teach the Bible as God's inerrant word, I would have wasted my time and money and energy and corrupted my thinking. Likewise, if anyone spends years having his thinking formed into a humanistic worldview, he is wasting that portion of his life and resources. There is nothing good or redemptive in humanistic education, politics, economics, jurisprudence, medicine or religion. Do not defend your humanistic background, but rather renounce it and repent. Seek help in thinking clearly.

Just remember, my radical position is in response to the radical agenda of Humanism. Humanism attacks God and His word.
