07/16/14 IT IS BOTH - AND

When we do not prioritize and commit ourselves to personal evangelism (telling other people about Jesus), then it is not a surprise that our corporate evangelism with our local congregation is ineffectual or non existent.

When a person struggles with finding and yielding the time, energy, and resources for personal Christian service to other people, then it is no wonder that they are unable to find and yield the time, energy and resources for serving other people, with and through their church.

Both forms of ministry (personal and corporate) are essential to a healthy Christian and to a healthy church. If you find yourself coming far short in either of these, then you can find them, right where you are, when you bow and call on God in prayer.
