I remember Outcome Based Education, and how it was going to save the children of America. Of course, it was riddled with anti-family, anti-Bible, anti-American principles that were designed to destroy America's children, family and Church influence, and dismantle the old educational system, that made us number one in the world. The further we moved from our moorings, the worse education we gave our children.
Now we have Common Core to the rescue... NOT. It is the same bad product (only worse) with a new name. Though it seems to change, it holds to the same destructive ideas, such as Situation Ethics, Values Clarification, Naturalism, Materialism, Rationalism, Empiricism... all the ism's that are against Christ.
Ever since John Dewey, the Father of Modern Education, set the course for American education, our schools have been deliberately guided away from Christ, the Bible, the Christian home and towards socialism and the Religion of Statism.
The only bulkhead of protection in the public school system was the Bible. Dewey and his socialist cronies set into motion a system to remove all Christian vestiges, and in 1963 the liberal agenda of the socialist resulted in the SCOTUS making Bible reading in school illegal (as it had with prayer the previous year).
The educators of the day denied the socialist and homosexual agenda of Outcome Based Education, but it did not take long for it to show its ugly head. Oh, and Outcome Based Education did not save America's children, but it was another twist in the downward spiral of American education, leading to the present Common Core, which is unapologetic about its socialism and homosexual agenda, and it attacks the American family, the American way of life and the Christian faith more rigorously than any of the previous programs foisted by the liberal left.
America won't, America can't save itself. In fact, it is destroying itself in proportion to its rejection of the Bible and Christ.
