#1 No, it could be bad, because it might be Satan, who is a cruel taskmaster.
#2 Then it's bad?
#1 No, it could be good, because God enables us to make a free choice.
#2 Then it's good?
#1 No, it could be bad, because not everybody makes the right choice.
#2 Then it's bad?
#1 No, it could be good, because that means some people do make the right choice, and you could be one of the people who makes a wise choice.
The Bible says, "God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes on Him should not perish, but have everlasting life," and "Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved," and, "He (Christ) is the propitiation for our sins, and not for our sins only, but for the sins of the whole world."
#2 Then it's good news?
#1, YES that is The Good News.
