FORSAKE THE WORLD...

FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH.
One of the reasons folks suffer such loss when they are confronted by Satan is because living in the Spirit is such a foreign or uncommon reality to them, and therefore, they are unsure about how to stand firm in the Spirit when engaged in spiritual warfare.
Soldiers are full grown, equipped and trained warriors. There are very few soldiers of the Cross today, in spite of the rhetoric and songs. Being a soldier of the Cross requires commitment, growth and maturity; beginning at the time of salvation and continuing consistently throughout the Christian walk.
Sadly, most people think that being a Christian is manifested in basic social proprieties and evidenced by various forms of religious exercises. Being a Christian is being transformed by the person, presence and power of the Holy Spirit, and walking every day, every moment in the way that He leads. "Listening every moment to the Spirit's call."
